Radiology Technician PRN

We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technician PRN to join our team at Ernest Health. We are looking for a self-motivated, patient-focused professional with a passion for providing the highest quality of care. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.The successful candidate must have an Associate's degree in Radiology Technology from an accredited institution, and must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). In addition, we are looking for someone who is certified in CPR (American Heart Association) and Basic Life Support (BLS). The Radiology Technician PRN must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a positive attitude. Our team is committed to providing exceptional care, so the successful candidate must be passionate about delivering the best care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures in a safe and efficient manner

• Assess patient condition and ensure patient safety during procedures

• Follow department protocols and procedures for radiographic exam

• Adjust equipment settings to obtain proper image

• Monitor and maintain radiologic equipment

• Prepare reports and maintain records of patient exams

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Assist physicians with special procedures and treatments

• Provide patient education in regards to radiologic procedures

• Educate and orient new staff members

• Maintain licensure and certifications in Radiology Technology, CPR (American Heart Association), and Basic Life Support (BLS)
