
PRN - Physical Therapist Assistant

- Provide patient-centered care: The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in a rehabilitation setting.
- Collaborate with the team: The PTA will work closely with the rehabilitation team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct patient evaluations: The PTA will assist in conducting patient evaluations, including assessing range of motion, strength, and functional abilities, and documenting findings in patient records.
- Administer therapeutic exercises: The PTA will be responsible for administering therapeutic exercises and activities to patients, as directed by the physical therapist, to improve strength, mobility, and function.
- Monitor patient progress: The PTA will monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed, in collaboration with the physical therapist, to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support: The PTA will educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities, as well as provide support and encouragement throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Maintain accurate documentation: The PTA will maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and any changes in condition or treatment.
- Adhere to professional standards: The PTA will adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards, as well as follow all policies and procedures set by the facility.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment: The PTA will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment, including proper use and storage of equipment and supplies.
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge: The PTA will participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to continuously improve their skills and knowledge in the field of physical therapy.
- Communicate effectively: The PTA will communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Associate's Degree In Physical Therapy Assistant Program: A Prn Physical Therapist Assistant At Ernest Health Should Possess A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In A Physical Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.
State Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid And Current State License To Practice As A Physical Therapist Assistant.
Cpr Certification: A Prn Physical Therapist Assistant Should Have A Current Cpr Certification From An Accredited Organization.
Strong Communication Skills: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Prior Experience: Previous Experience In A Hospital Or Rehabilitation Setting Is Preferred For This Position. The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Physical Therapy Principles And Techniques, As Well As Experience Working With Patients Of Various Ages And Conditions.
