PRN - Physical Therapist Assistant

1. Provide patient-centered care: The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in a rehabilitation setting.
2. Collaborate with the team: The PTA will work closely with the rehabilitation team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
3. Conduct patient evaluations: The PTA will assist in conducting patient evaluations, including assessing range of motion, strength, and functional abilities, and documenting findings in patient records.
4. Administer therapeutic exercises: The PTA will be responsible for administering therapeutic exercises and activities to patients, as directed by the physical therapist, to improve strength, mobility, and function.
5. Monitor patient progress: The PTA will monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed, in collaboration with the physical therapist, to ensure optimal outcomes.
6. Provide education and support: The PTA will educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities, as well as provide support and encouragement throughout the rehabilitation process.
7. Maintain accurate documentation: The PTA will maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and any changes in condition or treatment.
8. Adhere to professional standards: The PTA will adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards, as well as follow all policies and procedures set by the facility.
9. Maintain a clean and safe environment: The PTA will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment, including proper use and storage of equipment and supplies.
10. Continuously improve skills and knowledge: The PTA will participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to continuously improve their skills and knowledge in the field of physical therapy.
