  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care to individuals in need.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  3. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
  4. Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  5. Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
  7. Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  9. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  10. Proactively identify and report any changes in patient condition to healthcare team members.
  11. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  12. Participate in educational and training opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  15. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  16. Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the patients and the facility.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Prn Patient Care Tech-Days At Ernest Health Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Certification As A Nursing Assistant: A Valid Certification As A Nursing Assistant Is Required For This Position. This Certification Demonstrates A Basic Knowledge In Patient Care And Is A Requirement For Working In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Previous Experience In A Similar Role: Prior Experience As A Patient Care Tech Or Nursing Assistant Is Highly Desirable For This Position. This Experience Should Include Working With Patients In A Hospital Or Acute Care Setting.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: A Valid Bls Certification Is Required For This Position. This Certification Demonstrates The Ability To Respond To Emergency Situations And Provide Basic Life Support To Patients.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Prn Patient Care Tech-Days Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members. This Includes The Ability To Listen Actively, Convey Information Clearly, And Maintain A Professional Demeanor At All Times.
