  1. Provide exceptional care to patients by evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized occupational therapy treatments.
  2. Help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through therapeutic interventions and activities.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  5. Continuously monitor and reassess patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  6. Educate patients and their families on home exercises and adaptive equipment to promote independence and improve functional abilities.
  7. Adhere to professional standards, code of ethics, and legal regulations in all aspects of patient care.
  8. Stay current with developments and advancements in the field of occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  9. Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and team members to ensure quality care and positive outcomes.
  10. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and team members.
  12. Show commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Ernest Health and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture.
  13. Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to support the needs of the department and organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist License: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid License To Practice As An Occupational Therapist In The State Where Ernest Health Facility Is Located.

  • Prior Experience In Inpatient Rehabilitation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practice: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practice And The Ability To Incorporate It Into Treatment Plans.

  • Flexibility And Availability: As A Prn Position, The Candidate Should Be Willing To Work On An As-Needed Basis, Including Weekends And Holidays, And Have A Flexible Schedule To Accommodate The Needs Of The Facility.
