• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries
• Provide hands-on treatment to patients, including therapeutic exercises and modalities, under the direction of a physical therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate with physical therapist about any changes in treatment plan or patient's condition
• Educate patients and their families about proper techniques for exercises and activities to continue at home
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment for patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure comprehensive and effective care for patients
• Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and techniques to continuously improve patient care
• Adhere to all state regulations and guidelines for physical therapy practice
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain a compassionate and empathetic demeanor with patients and their families
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients and coworkers.
