Are you a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity? Ernest Health is seeking a Per Diem COTA to join our dynamic and patient-centered team. As a Per Diem COTA, you will have the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis, providing quality care and rehabilitation services to our patients.   1. Provide quality care and rehabilitation services to patients on an as-needed basis.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
  6. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards and guidelines in the provision of care.
  7. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  8. Stay current with industry developments and advancements in occupational therapy.
  9. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  11. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent care.
  12. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  14. Attend team meetings and participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  15. Meet all required qualifications and maintain necessary certifications and licenses.
  16. Embrace a patient-centered approach and strive to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Cota Certification: The Individual Must Possess A Valid And Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) Certification To Be Eligible For The Per Diem Position At Ernest Health.

  • State Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Current State License To Practice As A Cota In The State In Which Ernest Health Is Located.

  • Minimum Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least One Year Of Experience Working As A Cota In A Hospital, Outpatient, Or Skilled Nursing Facility Setting.

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively And Work Well With Both Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Flexibility: The Per Diem Position Requires The Candidate To Have A Flexible Schedule, As They May Be Required To Work On Short Notice Or Cover Shifts On Weekends Or Holidays. The Ability To Adapt To Changing Work Schedules And Environments Is Essential.
