- Provide compassionate care: The primary responsibility of the Patient Care Technician (PCT) is to provide compassionate care to our patients during their stay at Ernest Health.

- Monitor patients: The PCT will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, reporting any changes to the healthcare team, and providing necessary care.

- Assist with daily living activities: The PCT will assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.

Completion Of A Certified Patient Care Technician Program: Candidates Should Have Completed An Accredited Pct Program From A Recognized Institution, Which Includes Coursework And Hands-On Training In Patient Care, Vital Sign Monitoring, And Basic Medical Procedures.
Current Cpr Certification: Pcts Are Required To Have A Current And Valid Cpr Certification To Provide Emergency Medical Care To Patients In Case Of Cardiac Arrest Or Other Life-Threatening Situations.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Hospital, Nursing Home, Or Other Healthcare Facility Is Preferred For This Role. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Are Familiar With The Healthcare Environment.
Ability To Work Night Shifts: This Particular Job Requires The Pct To Work During The Night Shift, Which May Involve Working On Weekends And Holidays. Therefore, Candidates Must Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Willing To Work During Non-Traditional Hours.
