Job Description

Ernest Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Patient Care Tech-Therapy (PRN) to join our team. As a Patient Care Tech-Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work closely with therapists to assist in providing vital treatments and support to patients on their road to recovery. We are looking for individuals who are patient, empathetic, and have excellent communication and teamwork skills. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

  1. Provide compassionate and quality care to patients undergoing therapy treatments.
  2. Assist therapists in delivering vital treatments and support to patients.
  3. Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  4. Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to therapists.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, and other healthcare team members.
  7. Establish and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients during therapy sessions.
  8. Assist patients with daily activities, including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition.
  9. Demonstrate empathy and sensitivity towards patients' physical and emotional needs.
  10. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  12. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care.
  13. Remain up-to-date on therapy techniques and procedures.
  14. Show flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Patient Care Technician (Pct) Program.

  • Current Cpr Certification.

  • Minimum Of High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • At Least 1 Year Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Therapy Or Rehabilitation.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
