
Patient Care Tech-PRN

- Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of a Patient Care Tech is to provide compassionate and high-quality care to our patients.
- Assist healthcare team: Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to support and assist in patient care.
- Perform daily tasks: Perform tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting patients with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment: Ensure that patient rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Communicate effectively: Communicate important information to patients, families, and healthcare team members in a clear and professional manner.
- Adhere to protocols and procedures: Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
- Document patient information: Record and maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Flexibility in scheduling: As a PRN employee, be available to work a variable schedule based on the needs of the facility, including weekends and holidays.
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy: Show empathy and compassion towards patients and their families, and provide emotional support when needed.
- Maintain confidentiality: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

- Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in team meetings: Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on patient care and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional standards: Uphold and maintain professional standards and ethical behavior in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Completion Of A Certified Patient Care Technician Program Or Equivalent Training
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Rehabilitation Or Acute Care Facility
Current Cpr And First Aid Certifications
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment
