- Provide top-notch patient care: The primary responsibility of this job is to provide high-quality patient care that meets the standards and expectations of the healthcare facility.
- Assist with patient needs: The Patient Care Tech will be responsible for assisting patients with their daily needs, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor patient vital signs: This role will require monitoring and recording patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature, as needed.
- Administer medication: The Patient Care Tech will be responsible for administering medication to patients, following proper procedures and protocols.
- Communicate effectively: Strong communication skills are essential in this role, as the Patient Care Tech will need to communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment: The Patient Care Tech will be responsible for ensuring the patient's environment is clean and safe, including changing linens, organizing supplies, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Document patient information: Accurate and timely documentation of patient information is crucial in this role. The Patient Care Tech will be responsible for documenting patient care and any changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team: This role requires working closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: This Is The Minimum Educational Requirement For A Patient Care Tech-Prn Position At Ernest Health.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma) Certification: Applicants Should Have A Valid Cna Or Ma Certification To Be Considered For The Position.
Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience Working As A Patient Care Tech, Nurse Aide, Or Medical Assistant Is Preferred For This Role.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association Or The American Red Cross.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: Patient Care Techs Are Expected To Interact With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis, So Excellent Communication Skills Are Crucial For This Role.
