Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma) Certification: Many Hospitals And Healthcare Facilities Require Pcts To Have A Cna Or Ma Certification. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Has The Necessary Skills To Provide Direct Patient Care.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility Is Preferred For A Pct Position. This Shows That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Healthcare Environment And Has A Basic Understanding Of Patient Care Procedures.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Pcts May Be Required To Perform Basic Life Support Procedures In Emergency Situations. Having A Bls Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Respond To Medical Emergencies.
