1. Provide hands-on care and support to patients under the direction of healthcare professionals.
2. Monitor and record patient vital signs, intake and output, and other relevant health information.
3. Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
4. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by following infection control procedures.
5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure a positive and comfortable experience.
6. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
7. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care activities.
9. Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary.
10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
11. Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
14. Assist with transporting patients to and from various appointments and procedures.
15. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and patient care conferences.
16. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
17. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
