1. Maintain a clean and organized environment throughout the facility, including patient rooms, common areas, and offices.
2. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
3. Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
4. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to the appropriate department.
5. Assist with laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal items.
6. Respond promptly to requests for cleaning services from patients, staff, and other departments.
7. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.
8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
9. Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
10. Attend trainings and meetings as required to maintain knowledge of best practices and procedures.
11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
12. Demonstrate a positive and friendly attitude towards patients, visitors, and staff.
13. Take initiative to identify and address areas in need of cleaning or maintenance.
14. Follow all facility and department policies and procedures.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
