Dietary Aide

Ernest Health is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of quality dietary services to our patients by providing meal service and nutrition education. This position requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Our Dietary Aide will be an integral part of our team, helping to ensure that the dietary needs of our patients are consistently met.To be successful in this role, you must be organized, have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and any prior experience in the field of dietary services is preferred. Responsibilities: -Preparing meals for patients according to dietary guidelines and meal plans -Providing nutrition education to patients and their families -Ensuring that all dietary policies and procedures are followed -Ensuring that food is stored, prepared, and served correctly -Monitoring and documenting patient food intake -Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas -Assisting in ordering, receiving, and stocking food and supplies -Assisting in menu planning and food preparation -Assisting with special diet requests and modifications
