Welcome to Ernest Health! We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Nursing Officer to join our team and lead our nursing department.   1. Oversee and direct all nursing operations and activities within the facility, including but not limited to patient care, staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with other department heads to develop and maintain effective interdisciplinary relationships and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  5. Act as a liaison between nursing staff and upper management, communicating any concerns or issues and providing regular updates on departmental performance.
  6. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and develop action plans to address any areas of improvement.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, including but not limited to Medicare, Medicaid, and Joint Commission.
  8. Develop and oversee departmental budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to financial goals.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and best practices, implementing new initiatives and programs to enhance patient care and improve overall performance.
  10. Serve as a role model for professional behavior and uphold the company's mission, vision, and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field Is Required For This Position. A Doctorate In Nursing (Dnp) Is Preferred.

  • Leadership Experience: At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably As A Chief Nursing Officer Or Director Of Nursing.

  • Clinical Expertise: Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Nursing Practice, Standards Of Care, And Clinical Operations In A Hospital Or Acute Care Setting.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability To Develop And Implement Strategic Initiatives To Improve Patient Outcomes, Increase Efficiency, And Ensure Quality Care Delivery.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, As Well As The Ability To Build And Maintain Positive Relationships With Staff, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
