Responsibilities for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

  • Provide excellent care to patients in accordance with Ernest Health’s mission and values
  • Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate
  • Administer medications as directed by the registered nurse
  • Assist with feeding and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
  • Report changes in patient condition to the registered nurse
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
