- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for 5G Core (UDM) systems to ensure the smooth functioning of our technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain 5G Core systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement, proactively addressing any potential issues.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, providing effective solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in 5G technology to continuously enhance our systems and services.
- Work closely with the development team to provide feedback and suggestions for improving the functionality and performance of our 5G Core systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting manuals, to assist customers and internal teams.
- Participate in on-call support rotation to ensure 24/7 availability for critical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to identify training needs and provide training and support to new team members.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, actively seeking out and implementing new ways to optimize and enhance our 5G Core systems.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security and compliance standards, to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of our systems and customer data.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Ericsson, representing the company in a professional and positive manner to customers and stakeholders.
In-Depth Knowledge Of 5G Core Network Architecture And Protocols: A Support Engineer For 5G Core Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Network Architecture And Protocols, Including User Data Management (Udm) Functions. This Includes Knowledge Of 3Gpp Standards And Network Elements Such As Amf, Smf, And Upf.
Experience In Troubleshooting Network Issues: The Role Of A Support Engineer Involves Identifying And Resolving Technical Issues In A Timely Manner. Candidates Should Have Experience In Troubleshooting And Resolving Complex Problems In A 5G Core Network Environment.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Support Engineer Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Customers, Colleagues, And Other Teams Within The Organization. They Should Have Excellent Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively To Find Solutions.
Proficiency In Scripting And Automation: With The Increasing Complexity Of 5G Networks, Automation And Scripting Skills Are Essential For A Support Engineer. Candidates Should Be Proficient In Scripting Languages Such As Python, Perl, Or Shell, And Have Experience In Automating Routine Tasks.
Relevant Experience And Certifications: Candidates Should Have A Strong Background In Telecommunications, With At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In 5G Core Network Support.
