  1. Design, implement, and maintain Linux systems and infrastructure for Ericsson's global network.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems and applications.
  3. Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures for Linux systems.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Linux and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute Linux-related projects.
  6. Monitor system performance and capacity to ensure optimal and efficient operation.
  7. Conduct regular system audits and implement security measures to protect against potential threats.
  8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
  9. Document system configurations, procedures, and changes for future reference.
  10. Assist in the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance the Linux environment.
  11. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.
  12. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  13. Continuously review and improve processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
  14. Adhere to and promote company policies and procedures, including security protocols.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and share knowledge with the team.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Linux System Administration - A Senior Linux Engineer At Ericsson Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Linux Operating Systems, Including Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting, And Maintenance.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Networking Protocols And Technologies - Ericsson's Senior Linux Engineer Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Networking Concepts And Be Able To Configure And Troubleshoot Common Protocols Such As Tcp/Ip, Dns, And Dhcp.

  • Proficiency In Scripting And Automation - The Ideal Candidate Should Be Proficient In Scripting Languages Such As Bash, Python, And Perl, And Be Able To Automate Routine Tasks To Improve Efficiency And Reduce Errors.

  • Experience With Virtualization And Cloud Technologies - Ericsson's Senior Linux Engineer Should Be Familiar With Virtualization Technologies Such As Vmware And Openstack, As Well As Cloud Computing Platforms Such As Aws And Azure.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Communication Skills - As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Problems And Provide Effective Solutions, As Well As Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
