- Provide strategic legal advice and support to senior management and business units within the company.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations in the telecommunications and technology industry.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents and agreements, including contracts, licenses, and compliance policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and identify potential legal issues in business operations.
- Handle legal disputes or claims and work towards resolution through negotiation or legal action.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel and other relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and proactively advise the company on potential impacts.
- Train and educate employees on legal matters and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized legal records and documentation.
- Participate in and contribute to company-wide legal initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure consistency in legal advice and support across the company.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and meetings with external parties.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements within the legal department.
- Uphold the company's values and ethical standards in all legal activities and interactions.
Extensive Legal Experience: A Senior Group Legal Counsel At Ericsson Must Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, With A Focus On Corporate And Commercial Law. This Experience Should Preferably Include Working At A Multinational Company And Dealing With Complex International Legal Issues.
Strong Leadership Skills: This Role Requires A Leader Who Can Manage A Team Of Lawyers And Work Collaboratively With Other Departments And Senior Management. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Coaching And Developing Team Members, As Well As The Ability To Provide Strategic Legal Advice To Senior Executives.
Expertise In Telecommunications Industry: Ericsson Is A Global Leader In The Telecommunications Industry, So The Senior Group Legal Counsel Must Have A Deep Understanding Of The Industry And Its Regulatory Landscape. Previous Experience In The Telecommunications Industry Is Highly Desirable.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: As A Senior Legal Counsel, The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Effectively Negotiate And Draft Complex Legal Agreements. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Legal Concepts To Non-Legal Stakeholders In A Clear And Concise Manner.
