Job Description

As a DevOps Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and operation processes, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of our products and services.   1. Design and implement DevOps strategies and processes to improve the overall efficiency and quality of product delivery.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and operations personnel, to identify and resolve issues and optimize workflows.
  3. Automate and streamline development and deployment processes to achieve faster and more reliable delivery.
  4. Monitor and analyze system performance and implement necessary changes to improve system stability.
  5. Develop and maintain tools and scripts for automation, configuration management, and deployment.
  6. Identify and recommend new technologies and tools to improve the DevOps process.
  7. Ensure the security and integrity of the production environment and implement necessary security measures.
  8. Continuously review and improve existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to development and operations.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and apply them to the team's processes.
  11. Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and configurations.
  12. Train and mentor team members on DevOps principles and best practices.
  13. Communicate project updates, progress, and challenges to team members and stakeholders.
  14. Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed.
  15. Take ownership of projects and ensure timely and successful delivery.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience With Agile Methodologies: A Devops Specialist At Ericsson Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Agile Principles And Methodologies, Such As Scrum Or Kanban. They Should Be Able To Implement These Practices To Improve Collaboration And Efficiency Within The Development Team.

  • Proficiency In Automation Tools: A Devops Specialist Should Have A Strong Background In Automation Tools Such As Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef. They Should Be Able To Effectively Design, Implement, And Maintain Automated Processes To Streamline Development And Deployment Processes.

  • Knowledge Of Cloud Computing: As Ericsson Utilizes Cloud-Based Technologies, A Devops Specialist Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Computing Platforms, Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud. They Should Be Able To Deploy And Manage Applications In These Environments.

  • Strong Coding Skills: A Devops Specialist Should Have A Solid Foundation In Coding And Scripting Languages, Such As Python, Ruby, Or Bash. They Should Be Able To Write And Maintain Code To Automate Tasks And Improve Overall System Performance.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Devops Specialist At Ericsson Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. They Should Be Able To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders. Additionally, They Should Be Able To Collaborate With Team Members To Identify And Resolve Issues Quickly And Efficiently.
