- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of broadcast equipment to ensure continuous operation and minimal downtime.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest broadcast technology and equipment, and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
- Collaborate with other engineers and team members to design and implement new broadcast systems.
- Conduct regular audits and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, escalating to higher levels of support when necessary.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and addressing any potential problems or areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical diagrams and procedures, for all broadcast systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments as needed.
- Travel to different locations, including remote sites, to install, maintain, and repair broadcast equipment.
- Work with external vendors and suppliers to source and procure necessary equipment and parts.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times while working with broadcast equipment.
- Communicate with stakeholders and clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on broadcast equipment and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and operations, to ensure smooth and seamless broadcast operations.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field.
Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment, With Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Broadcast Engineering, Preferably In A Telecommunications Or Media Company.
Strong Knowledge Of Broadcast Technology And Equipment, Including Rf Transmission, Satellite Uplink/Downlink, And Ip Networking.
Experience With Troubleshooting And Maintenance Of Broadcast Systems, Including Video And Audio Codecs, Routers, And Switchers.
