  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the systems and services within the organization, including their dependencies and potential points of failure.
  • Proactively monitor and assess the availability of systems and services, using a variety of tools and techniques to identify and address potential issues before they impact the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain high availability solutions, including redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure that systems and services are meeting availability targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate and report on availability metrics and incidents to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and timely manner.
  • Lead incident response and resolution efforts, working closely with technical teams to minimize downtime and mitigate any impact to customers.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve and optimize systems and processes to enhance availability and reliability.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to high availability and make recommendations for their implementation within the organization.
  • Train and mentor team members on availability best practices and procedures, and provide guidance and support in resolving complex issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and be available to respond to critical incidents outside of regular business hours.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and a strong focus on customer satisfaction within the availability team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Availability Management, Preferably In A Telecommunications Or It Environment

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standard Availability Management Frameworks, Such As Itil Or Cobit

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Availability Issues In A Timely Manner

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
