Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology Is Required To Be Considered For A Speech Pathologist Position At Encompass Health. This Degree Should Be From An Accredited Institution.
State Licensure: All Speech Pathologists At Encompass Health Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice. This Ensures That Candidates Have Met The Necessary Education And Clinical Experience Requirements To Provide Speech Therapy Services.
Ccc-Slp Certification: A Certificate Of Clinical Competence In Speech-Language Pathology (Ccc-Slp) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha) Is Preferred For Speech Pathologists At Encompass Health. This Certification Demonstrates Advanced Knowledge And Skills In The Field Of Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience Working With Adults And/Or Children: Encompass Health Serves Both Adult And Pediatric Patients, So Experience Working With Both Populations Is Preferred. This May Include Clinical Experience, Internships, Or Previous Employment In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Speech Pathologist At Encompass Health, You Will Be Working With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis.
