Rehab Therapy Technician

- Assist therapists in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients.
- Help patients with daily activities, exercises, and therapy sessions as directed by therapists.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to therapists.
- Set up and maintain therapy equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding towards patients.

- Assist in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Certification Or Licensure: Candidates Should Possess A Valid Certification Or Licensure As A Rehabilitation Therapy Technician, Such As A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) Or Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (Pta).
Experience In Rehabilitation Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Rehabilitation Or Healthcare Setting Is Preferred. This Could Include Working As A Therapy Aide, Nursing Assistant, Or Medical Assistant.
Knowledge Of Rehabilitation Techniques: A Strong Understanding Of Rehabilitation Techniques And Modalities Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Be Familiar With Common Therapeutic Exercises, Assistive Devices, And Therapy Equipment.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Rehab Therapy Technician, You Will Work Closely With Patients, Therapists, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary To Provide Excellent Patient Care And Work Effectively Within A Team.
Physical Stamina And Dexterity: This Role Requires Physical Stamina And Dexterity To Assist Patients With Mobility And Daily Activities. Candidates Should Be Able To Lift And Move Patients, As Well As Operate Therapy Equipment.
