- Assist therapists in providing high-quality care to patients by preparing treatment areas, setting up equipment, and assisting with patient transfers and positioning.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment in accordance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with therapists, patients, and other healthcare team members to ensure the smooth delivery of therapy services.
- Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients, monitor progress, and document observations.
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and exercises to improve their functional abilities and promote independence.
- Adhere to and promote ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Report any changes or concerns in patient status to therapists and appropriate healthcare providers.
