1. Assist in providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients under the supervision of licensed therapists.
2. Set up and maintain therapy equipment and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient treatment environment.
3. Help patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility exercises.
4. Monitor and record patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
5. Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
6. Demonstrate knowledge of basic therapy techniques and protocols.
7. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe therapy area.
8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
9. Attend training and educational opportunities to improve skills and knowledge in rehabilitative care.
10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
11. Participate in departmental and facility meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care and safety.
12. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising therapist or facility management.
14. Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including time and attendance, dress code, and code of conduct.
15. Continuously seek opportunities for growth and development in the field of rehabilitation therapy.
