1. Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.
3. Help patients with mobility exercises and transfers to and from therapy sessions.
4. Provide emotional and physical support to patients during their rehabilitation process.
5. Assist with administering medications and treatments as directed by the nursing team.
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, following infection control protocols.
7. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
8. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care.
9. Continuously monitor and report any changes in patients' condition to the nursing team.
10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on medical procedures and protocols.
11. Adhere to all Encompass Health policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
12. Promote a positive and respectful work environment by demonstrating professionalism and teamwork.
13. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care and progress.
14. Provide support and assistance to other members of the healthcare team as needed.
