Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License: Candidates Must Possess An Active Rn License From The State In Which They Will Be Working. This Ensures That The Nurse Is Qualified And Authorized To Practice Nursing In That Particular State.
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree: Encompass Health Prefers Candidates Who Have A Bsn Degree From An Accredited Nursing Program. This Higher Level Of Education Provides A Strong Foundation In Nursing Knowledge And Skills.
Clinical Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Experience As An Rn, Preferably In A Rehabilitation Or Acute Care Setting. This Experience Allows Nurses To Develop Essential Skills And Knowledge In Patient Care And Management.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: All Encompass Health Nurses Must Be Certified In Bls, Which Includes Cpr And Aed Training. This Certification Is Essential For Providing Immediate Emergency Care In Case Of Cardiac Arrest Or Other Life-Threatening Situations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Registered Nurses At Encompass Health Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Listen, Empathize, And Effectively Communicate Medical Information In A Clear And Understandable Manner.
