- Continuously evaluate and improve nutrition services offered by Encompass Health to ensure the highest quality of care.
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field: A Registered Dietitian At Encompass Health Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credential: Candidates Should Possess A Current And Valid Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credential From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).
State Licensure: A Valid State Licensure As A Registered Dietitian Is Required For This Role. This Ensures That The Candidate Meets The State's Requirements For Practicing As A Dietitian.
Clinical Experience: Encompass Health Is A Healthcare Organization That Provides Rehabilitation Services To Patients. Therefore, Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably With A Focus On Nutrition And Dietetics.
Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Nutrition Therapy And Its Application In A Clinical Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Disease-Specific Diets, Enteral And Parenteral Nutrition, And Nutrition Support For Patients With Complex Medical Conditions.
