- Manage the purchasing process for all necessary supplies and equipment, including researching and selecting vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing, and placing orders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with department heads to predict and plan for future supply needs.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all purchasing transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the purchasing process to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and support budget management.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in purchasing processes and regulations to inform decision-making.
- Train and provide guidance to team members on purchasing processes and protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all purchasing activities.
- Support the overall mission and goals of the organization and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Purchasing Or Procurement, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Purchasing Processes, Inventory Management, And Vendor Negotiation.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers And Internal Stakeholders.
Proficient In Microsoft Office And Experience With Purchasing Software Or Enterprise Resource Planning (Erp) Systems.
