
Purchasing Coordinator

- Oversee and manage the entire purchasing process for Encompass Health facilities, including sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand their purchasing needs and provide support in identifying the most cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor inventory levels and track usage data to forecast future purchasing needs and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Implement and maintain purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize purchasing processes.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to vendors.
- Communicate and negotiate effectively with vendors to resolve any issues or concerns related to the purchasing process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Train and develop team members on purchasing processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all facilities.
- Stay current on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions and identify potential areas for improvement.

Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Experience With Purchasing Software.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Purchasing Or Procurement, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Procurement Laws, Regulations, And Best Practices.
