- Procurement: Responsible for purchasing and procuring necessary supplies and equipment for the organization.
- Inventory management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment, ensuring that adequate stock is available at all times.
- Vendor management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating prices and terms to ensure the best value for the organization.
- Order processing: Process purchase orders and track delivery of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Budget management: Work closely with finance to manage budget for purchasing, ensuring cost-effective procurement practices.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with internal departments and external vendors to gather information, resolve issues, and provide updates on purchasing status.
- Research and analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify potential cost savings and alternative vendors, and make recommendations to management.
- Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of purchases, contracts, and vendor information.
- Problem-solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders or deliveries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as any relevant laws and regulations.
- Team collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide support as needed.
- Training: Train new employees on purchasing processes and procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to team members.
- Quality control: Monitor the quality of supplies and equipment received, and address any quality issues with vendors.
- Continuous improvement: Continuously review and improve purchasing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ad hoc duties: Perform any additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Procurement Or Purchasing, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Experience With Purchasing Software Systems.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Interact With Vendors And Internal Stakeholders.
