  1. Procurement: Responsible for purchasing and procuring necessary supplies and equipment for the organization.
  2. Inventory management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment, ensuring that adequate stock is available at all times.
  3. Vendor management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating prices and terms to ensure the best value for the organization.
  4. Order processing: Process purchase orders and track delivery of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  5. Budget management: Work closely with finance to manage budget for purchasing, ensuring cost-effective procurement practices.
  6. Communication: Effectively communicate with internal departments and external vendors to gather information, resolve issues, and provide updates on purchasing status.
  7. Research and analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify potential cost savings and alternative vendors, and make recommendations to management.
  8. Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of purchases, contracts, and vendor information.
  9. Problem-solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders or deliveries.
  10. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as any relevant laws and regulations.
  11. Team collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide support as needed.
  12. Training: Train new employees on purchasing processes and procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to team members.
  13. Quality control: Monitor the quality of supplies and equipment received, and address any quality issues with vendors.
  14. Continuous improvement: Continuously review and improve purchasing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Ad hoc duties: Perform any additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Procurement Or Purchasing, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Experience With Purchasing Software Systems.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Interact With Vendors And Internal Stakeholders.
