
Purchasing Coordinator

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of goods and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to ensure adequate supply levels while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
- Review and analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor information.
- Monitor and track budgetary spending related to purchasing and make adjustments as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and new products to inform purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, in all purchasing activities.
- Train and supervise purchasing staff, as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and operations, to develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with overall company goals.
- Respond to and resolve any purchasing-related issues or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to streamline and improve the purchasing process.
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Purchasing Or Procurement.
Strong Analytical And Negotiation Skills.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Experience With Purchasing Software.
Knowledge Of Supply Chain Management And Inventory Control Principles.
