- Provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in need.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their individual needs and create customized treatment plans.
- Perform various physical therapy techniques such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patients' physical function.
- Monitor and track patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue their rehabilitation outside of therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and techniques in physical therapy to provide the best possible care.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of job performance.

- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy Is Often Required For A Physical Therapist (Pool) Position At Encompass Health. This Degree Should Be From An Accredited University Or College.
State Licensure: All Physical Therapists (Pool) At Encompass Health Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice Physical Therapy. This Requires Passing The National Physical Therapy Examination And Meeting Any Other State-Specific Requirements.
Experience In A Clinical Setting: Encompass Health Prefers Candidates With At Least One Year Of Experience Working As A Physical Therapist In A Clinical Setting. This Experience Should Include Working With Patients Who Have A Wide Range Of Conditions And Injuries.
Cpr Certification: Encompass Health Requires All Physical Therapists (Pool) To Hold A Current Cpr Certification. This Is Necessary To Ensure That Therapists Are Prepared To Handle Any Emergency Situations That May Arise While Working With Patients.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Physical Therapist (Pool), You Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Relationships And Providing Quality Care.
