- Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve their physical health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the health and safety of patients and staff.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in physical therapy techniques.
- Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, creating a comfortable and supportive environment for patients and their families.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the company and relevant governing bodies.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, representing Encompass Health and its values to patients and colleagues.
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy of patient information at all times.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized therapy area to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
- Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
Cpr Certification.
Current State Licensure As A Physical Therapist Assistant.
Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program.
Experience Working In An Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting Preferred.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Therapists, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
