1. Prepare and dispense medications accurately and safely for patients according to established protocols and procedures.

4. Accurately enter and maintain patient and medication information in electronic health records and other pharmacy systems.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members to provide education and support regarding medication use, potential side effects, and other information as needed.
6. Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure an adequate supply of medications is available at all times.
7. Help to identify and report any potential drug interactions, allergies, or other concerns to the pharmacist and healthcare team.
8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
9. Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with changing regulations and best practices in the field of pharmacy.
10. Demonstrate a high level of compassion, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families.
11. Act as an advocate for patients and their medication needs, ensuring that they receive the highest quality of care and service.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacist or pharmacy manager in support of the overall functioning of the pharmacy department.
