  1. Dispensing Medications: The primary responsibility of the Pharmacist will be to dispense medications to patients according to their individual prescriptions and treatment plans.
  2. Medication Safety: The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in accordance with state and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  3. Patient Education: The Pharmacist will be responsible for educating patients on the proper use and potential side effects of their medications, as well as answering any questions or concerns they may have.
  4. Collaborate with Healthcare Team: The Pharmacist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. This may include consulting with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
  5. Medication Management: The Pharmacist will be responsible for monitoring medication therapy and making recommendations for adjustments as needed based on patient response and laboratory results.
  6. Adherence to Regulations: The Pharmacist will be responsible for adhering to all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice, as well as company policies and procedures.
  7. Inventory Management: The Pharmacist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels of medications and supplies, as well as monitoring expiration dates and disposing of expired medications in a safe and appropriate manner.
  8. Staff Training and Development: The Pharmacist may be responsible for training and supervising pharmacy technicians and other support staff, as well as participating in their professional development.
  9. Quality Assurance: The Pharmacist will participate in quality assurance activities such as medication error reporting and medication safety initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
  10. Professional Development: The Pharmacist will be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmaceuticals, as well as attending continuing education programs to maintain licensure and advance their knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited School

  • State Pharmacy License And Registration In Good Standing

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacist In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Pharmacy Practice

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment And Effectively Counsel Patients On Medication Use.
