Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Patient Assessment Standards Coordinator. As a full-time and exempt employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities meet and exceed patient assessment standards.   1. Oversee and ensure that all facilities within the organization are meeting patient assessment standards set by Encompass Health and regulatory bodies.
  2. Conduct regular audits and evaluations of patient assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback and recommendations to facility staff.
  3. Collaborate with facility leadership and staff to develop and implement action plans to address any deficiencies in patient assessments.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current patient assessment standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
  5. Train and educate facility staff on proper patient assessment procedures and documentation.
  6. Serve as a resource for facility staff, providing support and guidance on patient assessment standards and best practices.
  7. Communicate with external agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and address any concerns or inquiries.
  8. Monitor and analyze data related to patient assessments to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  9. Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient assessments.
  10. Serve as a liaison between facility staff and Encompass Health leadership to ensure alignment and consistency in patient assessment practices across all facilities.
  11. Act as a leader and advocate for quality patient care, promoting a patient-centered approach and continuous improvement in patient assessment standards.
  12. Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records of all patient assessment activities and reports.
  14. Stay updated on advancements and changes in the healthcare industry, particularly related to patient assessment standards, and incorporate this knowledge into daily responsibilities.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as ethical and professional standards.

Job Qualifications
