
Patient Assessment Standards Coordinator (full-time/exempt)

- Oversee and ensure that all facilities within the organization are meeting patient assessment standards set by Encompass Health and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations of patient assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback and recommendations to facility staff.
- Collaborate with facility leadership and staff to develop and implement action plans to address any deficiencies in patient assessments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current patient assessment standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Train and educate facility staff on proper patient assessment procedures and documentation.
- Serve as a resource for facility staff, providing support and guidance on patient assessment standards and best practices.
- Communicate with external agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Monitor and analyze data related to patient assessments to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient assessments.
- Serve as a liaison between facility staff and Encompass Health leadership to ensure alignment and consistency in patient assessment practices across all facilities.
- Act as a leader and advocate for quality patient care, promoting a patient-centered approach and continuous improvement in patient assessment standards.
- Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all patient assessment activities and reports.
- Stay updated on advancements and changes in the healthcare industry, particularly related to patient assessment standards, and incorporate this knowledge into daily responsibilities.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as ethical and professional standards.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Patient Care And/Or Quality Improvement
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Standards Related To Patient Care And Assessment
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Healthcare Professionals And Team Members.
