  1. Develop and maintain patient assessment standards and protocols in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  2. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current patient assessment practices and make recommendations for improvements.
  3. Conduct regular audits and reviews of patient assessment processes to ensure compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to educate and train staff on proper patient assessment techniques and protocols.
  5. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient assessment.
  6. Serve as a resource and point of contact for staff regarding patient assessment standards and protocols.
  7. Communicate any changes or updates to patient assessment standards to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in patient assessment to continuously improve standards and processes.
  9. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide input on ways to enhance patient assessment processes.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of patient assessment practices across the organization.
  12. Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory bodies regarding patient assessment standards and compliance.
  13. Lead and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient assessment data and make recommendations for patient care.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Clinical Or Healthcare Quality Improvement Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Patient Assessment Standards And Regulations, Including Cms Guidelines And Joint Commission Standards.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Departments And External Agencies.

  • Experience In Data Analysis And Quality Improvement Methodologies, Such As Lean Six Sigma Or Pdsa.
