  1. Provide compassionate care to patients and residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  2. Attend and actively participate in the Encompass Health Paid Nursing Assistant Training Program.
  3. Learn and apply knowledge of basic nursing skills, procedures, and techniques.
  4. Observe and report changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional states to the nursing team.
  5. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  6. Help patients with mobility and transferring, as needed.
  7. Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
  8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  10. Uphold the organization's values and standards of care.
  11. Attend all required trainings and meetings.
  12. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the healthcare field.
  13. Comply with all policies, procedures, and regulations in accordance with state and federal laws.
  14. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
  15. Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising nurse or healthcare team.

  • Completion Of High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Nursing Assistant Training Program Requires A Minimum Level Of Education To Ensure Candidates Have A Strong Foundation In Basic Academics And Communication Skills.

  • Basic Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: As A Nursing Assistant, Candidates Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures To Assist In Patient Care.
