1. Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans developed by licensed therapists.
2. Provide hands-on therapy to patients in order to help improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
3. Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
4. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and effective care for patients.
5. Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
6. Educate patients on therapeutic exercises and activities to help improve their functional abilities and independence.
7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support.
9. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and evidence-based practices to continually improve patient care.
10. Act as a positive role model for patients and promote a supportive and compassionate environment.
11. Assist with the coordination of patient scheduling and ensure timely and efficient therapy sessions.
