1. Provide direct patient care by assisting licensed Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
2. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
3. Conduct comprehensive assessments and document patient progress accurately and timely.
4. Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans to meet changing patient needs and goals.
5. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises to promote independence and improve daily living skills.
6. Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment for patients and adhere to infection control procedures.
7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to promote a positive and supportive treatment environment.
8. Keep up-to-date with current industry trends and evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
9. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines for occupational therapy practice.
10. Uphold Encompass Health's mission of enhancing the lives of patients through compassionate and quality care.
11. Exhibit a strong sense of empathy and compassion towards patients with disabilities.
12. Demonstrate excellent time-management and organizational skills to prioritize and manage a caseload effectively.
