
Occupational Therapy Assistant

- Provide direct patient care by assisting licensed Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and document patient progress accurately and timely.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans to meet changing patient needs and goals.
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises to promote independence and improve daily living skills.
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment for patients and adhere to infection control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to promote a positive and supportive treatment environment.
- Keep up-to-date with current industry trends and evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines for occupational therapy practice.
- Uphold Encompass Health's mission of enhancing the lives of patients through compassionate and quality care.

- Demonstrate excellent time-management and organizational skills to prioritize and manage a caseload effectively.

Strong Knowledge Of Occupational Therapy Principles, Techniques, And Modalities.
Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As An Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
Current State Licensure Or Certification As An Occupational Therapy Assistant.
