  1. Provide assistance to licensed occupational therapists in evaluating and treating patients with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
  2. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Assist patients in regaining their independence and improving their daily living skills.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress and communicate with supervising therapists to make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises to promote continued progress and independence.
  6. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the American Occupational Therapy Association and state regulations.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, progress, and outcomes.
  8. Continuously seek out opportunities for professional development and growth through workshops, seminars, and other educational resources.
  9. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect for patients and their families.
  10. Foster a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork and open communication with colleagues.
  11. Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  12. Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  13. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and positive representation of the company at all times.
  15. Stay updated on current trends and advancements in occupational therapy to provide the best possible care for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification From The National Board For Certification In Occupational Therapy (Nbcot).

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As An Occupational Therapy Assistant, Preferably In A Rehabilitation Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams.

  • Knowledge Of And Ability To Apply Evidence-Based Practice And Treatment Techniques In Occupational Therapy.
