Nutrition Service Clerk

1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the nutrition services department.
2. Assist with meal planning and menu development, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
3. Maintain accurate and organized records of patient meal orders and special dietary needs.
4. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation and delivery of meals.
5. Monitor and maintain inventory of food and supplies, placing orders as needed.
6. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient satisfaction and address any concerns or issues related to nutrition services.
7. Provide excellent customer service by responding to patient and visitor inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
9. Assist with training and orientation of new nutrition services staff.
10. Keep up-to-date with current nutrition trends and recommendations to continually improve services.
11. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards for quality and safety.
12. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, visitors, and colleagues.
13. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving nutrition services.
14. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
