  1. Assist patients in setting and achieving their health and wellness goals through proper nutrition.
  2. Educate patients on the importance of nutrition and its impact on overall well-being.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized nutrition plans for patients.
  4. Manage and maintain patient dietary records.
  5. Monitor patient food intake and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper nutrition.
  6. Order and stock food and supplies for the nutrition services department.
  7. Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure proper understanding and compliance with dietary instructions.
  8. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines in food preparation and handling.
  9. Maintain accurate records of patient dietary preferences and restrictions.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families regarding their dietary needs.
  11. Ensure timely delivery of meals and snacks to patients.
  12. Collaborate with the nutrition services team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Stay up-to-date on current nutrition trends and research to continually improve patient care.
  14. Attend and participate in meetings, trainings, and workshops related to nutrition services.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Nutrition And Dietary Guidelines: A Nutrition Service Clerk At Encompass Health Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Nutrition Principles And Dietary Guidelines To Properly Assist Patients And Healthcare Professionals.
