
Nursing Staffing Coordinator

- Create and maintain nursing staff schedules that meet the needs of patients and support the goals of the organization.
- Coordinate with nursing managers and other departments to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in patient acuity or staffing availability.
- Communicate with nursing staff to ensure they are aware of their schedules and any changes that may occur.
- Utilize scheduling software and other tools to efficiently manage and track staff schedules and attendance.
- Collaborate with HR and recruitment teams to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and any staffing gaps are addressed in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track staff hours and overtime to ensure compliance with labor laws and budgetary restrictions.
- Serve as a point of contact for nursing staff regarding scheduling issues and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff schedules and attendance.
- Provide regular reports and updates on staffing levels and any scheduling challenges to nursing managers and other relevant parties.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices related to staffing and scheduling in healthcare.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to continue improving skills and knowledge in nursing staffing and scheduling.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of patient care.
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and compassionate care.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulations related to staffing and scheduling.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
Strong Organizational And Communication Skills
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Staffing Or Scheduling Role
