Maintenance Supervisor

- Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and functionality of all equipment, systems, and buildings.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any potential safety hazards or maintenance needs.
- Prioritize and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring that all necessary maintenance work is completed in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
- Train and mentor maintenance team members, providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance efforts and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all safety and building regulations and codes.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Manage and track maintenance budget, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and necessary approvals are obtained.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workshop and inventory of tools and supplies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in maintenance techniques and technologies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the maintenance team.
- Communicate effectively with upper management regarding maintenance needs, progress, and any potential issues.
Strong Technical Skills: A Maintenance Supervisor At Encompass Health Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Building Systems, Such As Plumbing, Electrical, Heating, And Cooling. They Should Also Possess Knowledge Of Maintenance And Repair Techniques For Various Equipment And Machinery.
