
Human Resources Assistant

- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department by managing and maintaining employee records, including but not limited to, personnel files, benefits information, and performance evaluations.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process by scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and preparing new hire paperwork.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide excellent customer service, ensuring all questions and concerns are addressed promptly and accurately.
- Coordinate and organize employee training and development programs, including scheduling and tracking attendance.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely completion of HR-related tasks and projects.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee information at all times.
- Assist with payroll processing and record-keeping, including tracking employee attendance and time-off requests.
- Conduct research and provide support in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in HR meetings and take minutes, as needed.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to streamline HR processes.
- Stay current with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork and respect among colleagues.
- Represent the company professionally and positively in all interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In An Hr Support Role.
Proficiency In Hris Systems And Microsoft Office.
