- Stay updated on current coding guidelines and industry changes to ensure compliance.
- Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity while meeting deadlines.
- Utilize electronic health records and coding software to accurately assign codes.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with coding to the appropriate supervisor.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to coding and medical records.
- Participate in regular training and education to stay current on coding practices and regulations.

Certified Professional Coder (Cpc) Certification From The American Academy Of Professional Coders (Aapc).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Medical Coding In A Healthcare Setting.
Thorough Knowledge And Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Anatomy, And Physiology.
Proficiency In Coding Systems Such As Icd-10, Cpt, And Hcpcs.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Work Independently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
