- Administer hemodialysis treatments to patients according to established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and other important indicators during hemodialysis treatments.
- Assess patients' response to treatment and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, treatment options, and self-care techniques.

Current Rn License And Certification In Nephrology: The Ideal Candidate For A Hemodialysis Registered Nurse Position At Encompass Health Should Possess A Current Rn License And Certification In Nephrology. This Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of The Specialized Care Required For Hemodialysis Patients.
Experience In Hemodialysis: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Specifically In Hemodialysis Is Preferred For This Position. This Experience Should Include Direct Patient Care And Knowledge Of Hemodialysis Machines And Equipment.
Knowledge Of Best Practices And Regulations: A Hemodialysis Registered Nurse At Encompass Health Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Best Practices And Regulations Related To Hemodialysis. This Includes Infection Control, Safety Protocols, And Documentation Requirements.
